Hello, my name is Ashley. I'm a junior software engineer, who has a passion for technology and is currently aspiring to become a professional software engineer.
After working in technical recruitment for 7 years & speaking to engineers on a daily basis, including in-house working alongside product lead teams. I decided to put my spare time to good use, find out what all the fuss was about and learn to code for myself. A passion quickly grew and after 5 months of self-taught learning through online platforms such as Codecademy, i enrolled on General Assembly's Software Engineering Immersive Course and graduated at the start of 2021.
I'm now looking take my career to the next level and become a fully fledged professional Software Engineer. I enjoy using React.js and would love to continue working with it in a professional environment, building modern web apps & and given the ability to grow as a software engineer.
